If something a little more casual is what you are looking for after skiing then Thredbo also has many bars and cafés where you can easily grab a quick bite to eat while you are heading for your next heart-pumping activity. Check out the Alfresco Pizzeria, a popular Italian eatery that specializes in pizzas, salads, and pasta. But if you are someone with a real sweet tooth then you have to step into Gourmet Forty-Two. Chocolate and coffee addicts beware, you will never want to leave this place. Gourmet Forty-Two is a dedicated coffee and chocolate take-away outlet.

You can also find Kebab shops, cafes, bakeries, and supermarkets if you want to cook for yourself. Thredbo also has BBQs placed around the village for the public’s use as well as picnic tables. They are all provided free of charge!

On those days, when breakfast just didn’t quite fill you up and you can’t wait till lunch but you are half way up the mountain don’t worry. Because placed at different points down the slopes you will find heaps of different restaurants, cafes, and bistros where you can just ski right in the front door.
