To travel in New South Wales is a really satisfying thing to do. There is an enourmous range of things to do and places to see and it doesn’t matter if the sun is shining or its cold outside there is always a sensational destination to suit the mood. In the Summer months a seaside holiday will most likely fit the bill so think about going to places like Byron Bay, Kingscliff or Tweed heads on the north coast. A little further south Coffs Harbour and Port macquarie have a lot to offer and just north of Sydney you can spend some time at Port Stephens or Terrigal on the Central Coast. On the south coast the scenery is really spectacular. Wollongong, Bega, Batemans Bay and Eden all boast some sensational beaches. New South Wales is the home of surfing in Australia and there are literally hundreds of sensational beaches on offer where you can practise your skills. The numerous estuarys and bays along the coast are all wonderful fishing grounds and many of the main tourist centres also have charter operators running open sea charters.

The area is easily accessed and there is something here to suit every budget and a ski slope to suit every level of proficiency.
