The ski accommodation that is available at Mount Selwyn is just incredible, with so many different types of places to choose from you are sure to find exactly what you are looking for. All of the ski resorts whether they are based right on the ski slopes or just off them, such as Thredbo, Jindabyne, Mount Hotham, Mount Buller, Mount Buffalo, Perisher Valley, or Falls Creek, you will always find what you are after for your ski accommodation.

You will find anything from lodges, roomy self-contained cabins, farm stays cottages, holiday park units, villas private 2-5 bedroom houses, and self-contained apartments to suit your requirements in Mount Selwyn accommodation, and it won’t break the bank. All the places available are very affordable though never forgetting about comfort and quality. The standard facilities are linen, electric blankets, cutlery and crockery, laundry facilities and central heating, and a TV and DVD player. You can also find, depending on where you stay, the little added extras that will make you enjoy your stay even more, such as an open log fire for those really cold nights, hairdryers, BBQ areas, or balconies with spectacular views.

You have a choice between approximately 32 different styles of accommodation within the vicinity of Mount Selwyn. There are three sections where the accommodation is located and they are Adaminaby, Old Adaminaby, and Anglers Reach. When staying at either Old Adaminaby or Anglers Reach you are not more than 35mins from the ski slopes and just a little more down the road, you will find Adaminaby being 40mins. Where ever you do decide to stay, you will have your own private parking to accommodate your car, 4WD, or boat for those keen fishermen that want to sample trout fishing that is on hand.

Selwyn Snowfields, in New South Wales, is the most affordable snowfield making it a fantastic destination for families and anyone else that may be traveling on a budget. Though don’t be deceived that just because you are not paying as much as the other ski resorts in surrounding areas, you are never doing without anything that they may offer.

Mount Selwyn is just a short drive from Canberra making it roughly a 2-hour drive by car. You can catch a flight to Canberra and from here it is really easy to hire a car through Europcar and self-drive. Though you will have to organize to pay your park fees at one of the three different points of the National Park before entering. All of the major bus services will be able to take you directly into Mount Selwyn and drop you at your place of accommodation.
